iBook G3 wont boot

Hey, ok so I just installed intrepid on my ibook G3 and everything went fine there. When i boot i enter the Linux nosplash or the Linux video=ofonly nosplash, after i do this it looks like its gonna boot then it tells me that ubuntu is running in low graphics mode and gets stuck there. Please help me!!
