ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R250

Hi All,

I am running kubuntu 7.10 on Dell Latitude D600.
I want to use an external screen which is Samsung SyncMaster 931BF
(can support 1280x1024 resolution).

I'am not sure if I need to update my ATI driver or not ? If yes, how?
I went to the ATI web site but no driver for my graphic card.

Herewith the specs,
- graphic card: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R250 [Mobility FireGL 9000]
- kernel : 2.6.22-16-generic

See attached the xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log files

Any help would be appreciated.
