Cedega 4.3.x: Original Cd of Jedi Knight II, after installation, CD notFound;how2fixThis?

I installed this game from my original CD.
Installation: no prob & very fast

I start the game & it's saying Original CD not found ....
funny, even with an original cd, should I try to download a no-cd crack for even an original cd, that was working great under windows...

Ahhh, gaming under Linux is really not easy !

Thank you if u have any clues how to make it work !

Kind regards,

Pat'

i know its sounds stupid since you have the original, most of my "no cd" trouble with cedega are solved with a no-cd patch.

That's kind of crazy ...
I'll have to no-cd my original ! :-)

And, what's amazing : it's that they are saying that transgaming & cedega is very stable, reliable, great for installing, without any troubles ... is it a dream more than a reality ?

thank you again

Cedega does work well.

But, Windoze and *nix view devices in very different ways. Sometimes it is impossible to fake whatever Secure-Rom or CDCheck or whatever the copy protection app is looking for because it's a windoze only thing. Transgaming does tell you that sometime you need the no-cd patch from gamecopyworld.com in order to play a game even if you have the original CD.
