recover hardware elecrtic shocked

Is possible recover hardware has received a great electric shock? I'm try this video card on other pc and don't work. The same for cdrom, cd burner and motherboard; all pieces smells of burnt. Anybody have similar experience?

No. Melting is impossible to fix withought replacements. :P (Burnt smell..)

My customer tell me to know a technician that repair burnt components... I think this is impossible. He'll return truckle. :D :D :D
