Hey, Guys.

Everything is running fine (trying out linux again in a SAFE way).

Given my system specs below, what would be a safe memory allocation (ram and video)for Ubuntu guest, in your opinion? I have it at the default of 384 MB right now, but I know I can certainly increase that. I'm new to this virtualization thing...

System:

Quad Core q6600
4gb ram
Vista 64
Nvidia 8800GT 512mb

Thanks!

Depends what you're running. Up to 1 GB should be no problem, whatever the case. You may not need so much, of course, if you're just running some tax program. If you're running photoshop, pull it up to 2 GB (half your RAM). Its not adviseable to go over half your machine's RAM.
