Just signed up to UbuntuForum. The control panel suggested I should post a note here, saying hello.

Sort of like writing that small piece of C code that says "hello world" to get you started.

Aloha ! What kind of computer / OS are you using now ?
Installed Ubuntu V5.04 on a 700 MHz Pentium II about a week ago. I am slowing but surely getting the hang of it. I have used Unix in the past but it was mostly command line stuff not the Gnome GUI that Ubuntu uses.
