Hi

I get the usual " you need to download a flash player" message in all flash content placeholder boxes.

Likewise JRE was installed via Synaptics, but the Java test page says JRE not installed.

How?? Duh!

I use FF 3.x Ubuntu 8.0.4.2 LTS

Regards

Being the non-free pugin, I'm fairly certain that gets downloaded from Adobe and you need to tick the box agreeing to Adobe's terms of use. I installed it once before and had a problem with browsers not seeing it until I rebooted, have you given that a try?
