Hey,

I'm having a small issue setting up my bluetooth mouse.

I have download bluez-compat and get use the mouse by using the following
sudo hidd --search

However i am getting very frustrated having to turn on my mouse to allow it to be picked up and having to use the command above to get the mouse connected. I have to do this process every time my mouse either goes to sleep to save power or when i reboot.

I would like the mouse to stay connected whenever it is within range of my laptop.

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated, its been like this for 2 weeks now!!!

looks like there is a discusson about a bug at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez-gnome/+bug/285007

probably doesn't give you any short term relief.

Thanks for directing me to this bug, there is actually someone on that thread with the same mouse having the same problem however doesn't provide a fix so looks like i'm going to have to stick with it for awhile.
