How? I tried from this one site, but the screen just went white on me, and the second these really wierd graphics came up. I don't have BitTorrent, either. Little help here?

Um...that didn't work because...well I'm not sure, I have an Intel graphics card, but shouldn't that be able to handle savage 1? Whenever I type a script in the terminal it gave me some error or said (this was the most common) "bla bla bla not found"

Could you give us a copy pasta of the error report?

White means your card is unable to handle the graphics.

You're out of luck :\

Assuming you don't have graphics card issues the easiest way to install savage1 on linux is to just download the linux standalone posted here. It's a zip file of a complete savage1 install with all the SFE patches already installed.

when it says "bla bla bla not found" probably you are executing the script in a wrong folder... are you sure the file (executable) is there?

As for the website someone gave me, that was the one I already tried. And for the other reply, I think I am doing something wrong. But I don't care because I discovered Open Arena and Enemy Territory: Wolfenstein (miraculously they both work almost flawlessly :D

hehe :) good for you

i remember good times with ET... really a good game

If you like enemy territory you really should check out quakewars. I haven't bought a proprietary game in about 3 years (since before converting from windows) but thats one I would buy if I could afford it. Unfortunately it's system requirements are higher then savage1's so I doubt you'll be able to run it without an upgrade.
