avidemux (no audio decoder)

I wanted to re-encode a movie i shot on my digital camera. it is an avi file.

I received this message from avidemuxer. What does it mean and how can i fix it?

you have to use the save audio option. its in the drop down menu in avidemux, mess around and you'll probably get it sussed

choose 'save audio' from the drop down menu and leave the sound on 'COPY' it should work.
