View Full Version : [ubuntu] activating NVIDIA accelerated graphics dribver not workingo

Hey all, I am in the process of trying to get my video drivers installed, but for some reason the NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 177) wont let me activate it, I am using a mac book pro4,1. I have tried restarting and also have tried activating the older version 173 and that too hasn't worked. Has this happened to anyone else? and/or know how to fix it?

edit: the graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT

Alright, after a few hours of trying stuff I finally got the driver to activate properly!
