View Full Version : ATI drivers on ubuntu 9.04

Hello to all.
I have a big problem. upgraded the ubuntu from version 8.10 to 9.04 beta and I can't install the ATI drivers.
i canīt either with envyNG.
persistently consistently to put the 9.1 of the ATI, but nothing. I 'd like you to help me to put the 9.1 ATI drivers in ubuntu 9.04. thanks ;)

i am afraid they are not supported by the kernel as of yet

Do you know when this problem will be resolved? I have the same question/problem as above but it's now four weeks later (March 8th).

You could not possibly be upgrading to the beta, because the beta has not come out yet, you are probably upgrading to an alpha. The driver support will come out in the real beta, which is due March 26...

Well, according to the distrowatch page, Alpha 6 still does NOT solve the ATI drivers problem. Maybe the Beta will.

Nope ATi's driver does not support the version of xorg in 9.04.

the next long term release is due in august, there is no support for any except 8.04
