ubuntu server set up

Today is my first day using ubuntu server.

I manage to get it to show me the it work massage when i type the ip now am stock don't now what to do next.




Am planing on turning my 5! P4 3.0 server computers in to a dedicated server.


What Os system will you recoment

server or desktop and which one offer more protection.

There is a pretty good tutorial on how to setup the server on howtoforge.com. I just finished setting up my first Ubuntu server and used this as a guide.
