Hi Guys I am new to Linux having been a windows sheep for years.I love the software and it is a little different to the norm and while i am computer literate on the dark side, this makes me a Linux Newbie. I am having a problem in loading my Nvidia driver.

I am using an Abit AMD64 3800 with a single Albatron 7800 GTX (512) Video card. and when I go to System Nvidia X server settings i get this message

"You do not appear to be using the NVIDIA X driver. Please edit your X configuration file (just run `nvidia-xconfig` as root), and restart the X server".

Now being new can anyone assist me as to the best course of action. All advice would be greatly Appreciated.
