View Full Version : [kubuntu] KDE 4.2, dual monitors

I have two monitors running with nvidia twinview. So far I have two problems: 1) I cannot get the kicker panel to span across the dual screens. 2) I cannot yet get the "desktop" display to show across both screens. If I set the left screen to show the desktop, and the right one to show the desktop, I get two copies of my desktop.

I did search unsuccessfully for an answer to this, one way or the other. Is it possible yet to do this (config file hacking is ok by me)?

Thanks,
-George

Sure, move the post to wherever is best, but asking if a plasmoid can span two monitors sure seems like a desktop customization question. If I'd asked how to do it in KDE 3.5, someone would tell me to right click on the kicker, etc.
