I'm trying to get rid of my Mbox and 'downgrade' my Protools system to M-Powered so I can use an interface that also runs in Linux [I'm obsessed with Ardour].

Does anyone else hate the fact that NO digidesign products work in Linux, and that they're WWAAAAYYY overpriced?

Also, does anyone know if people are working on a driver for the M-Audio 2626? I've been drooling over that interface, namely for the ADAT capabilities it has...and the potential of working on both Protools AND Ardour.

no i dont hate digidesign :). <offtopic>
but i have a suggestion for using the emu 1212m soundcard if you like adat. its not so high prised anymore and it works great on linux in my opinion. what vesion of ardour are you using by the way. i been trying to learn how to use it on ubuntu but it seems different than on 64studio. i can import samples on that but the version on ubuntu seems to miss some options.
