The reason of this post is I am considering formating my Hard Drive and installing Ubuntu. I am curious if my hardware is compatable with Ubuntu 8.10. I have the following:
Motherboard: Acer Aspire 3100
Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60
RAM: 4GB PC5200
Video: ATI Xpress 1100
Audio: Realtek HD Audio
Wireless LAN: Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter
Modem Card: HDAUDIO soft data Fax Modem
Hard Drive: Toshiba ML 6034 GAX
CD/DVD drive: TL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4244N

I appreciate any information

I don't think it will be all that big of a headache, Ndiswrappers are pretty simple.
