Hi folks. I am new here and I'm not sure if it's the right forum to post about this.
I'm using my desktop to route the connections of my laptop to the internet. Everything is ok except that I cannot access webmail connections (yahoo mail and others) from the laptop even with the firewall turned off.
The machines configurations are
Desktop:
Athlon-xp with Kubuntu Breezy.
Using Guarddog (actually turned off) and Guidedog (routing and ip masquerading enabled).
eth0 (10.1.1.2) connected to internet through pppoe.
eth1 (192.168.0.1) connected to the laptop with static ip.
Latop:
Toshiba Satellite M55 with Kubuntu Breezy.
eth0 (192.168.0.2) connected to the desktop with static ip.
The default gateway is the desktop (192.168.0.1)
The DNS numbers are the same as in the desktop.
