Hi People,
My problem is quite simple. I had Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS Desktop Edition and I decided to update to the new 8.10. I followed the tutorial posted on ubuntu.com/ and the procedure seemed to go fine. When the procedure finished it prompted me to reboot my system which I did. Ubuntu was booting properly, the GRUB menu appeared, I selected to boot to Linux and after that instead of prompting me to type in my username, password e.t.c the screen went completely black... I couldn't do nothing after that. I have an Intel-based iMac 20".
What can I do to solve this cumbersome issue?
Any help is appreciated!!
Thank you.
