Hello,when i try to install drivers it goes fine everything,it says to restart computer,and after that i don't know what to do...

The driver,i have go on hardware drivers because i like to have ubuntu visual effects,i have ubuntu 8.10

If the driver installed correctly, go to System => Preferences => Appearance => Visual Effects and enable one of the three options.

I know that,but i have try to install and it says to reaboot the system...i have reboted and now i don't know what options to check...

Did you install Compiz config settings manager in Add/Remove?

Application> Add/Remove
Show: choose all available application
Search: compiz
install advance desktop effects setting

Ok i have installed,and?i have tryed to enable but again problem

In System> Adminstration> Hardware Drivers
what option do you get there?

Activate the 177 driver and restart the computer.

And when choise after that i will restart...and then what options to choise...because i can't screenshot to give...

Did you restart, then try System => Preferences => Appearance => Visual Effects again.

yes,after restart,it say to choise some options
To reconfigure drivers,load in low-graphich....

Restart, choose Recovery Mode
and use xfix

Sorry where is that option?

I have try it->reconfigure->new configuration,then i restart and it shows me again to do that...why:(i have tryed several times,but isn't working
