Hi,

I've taken the plunge and bought & installed a Dvico Fusion Dual 4 rev. 2.

Got it to work alright, but I'm having a small issue.

When watching TV I here and there get a small picture and/or sound error, similar to when there's reception problems.

Any idea what's causing this ? Reception quality hasn't change, sits above 50% for all stations.

BTW: This is happening both during watching liveTV and recording.

Bump. Anyone else having a similar problem ?

I have the same card and do not have the issues that you are having. The reason why I mention this is that I have roughly 70% signal levels, just in case you improve reception to that level it gives you a metric where it is working for others.

Yeah, somebody was mentioning to me that the reason my old card (leadtek 2000H) worked alright with these levels is that it had a metal can tuner module, where the Dvico uses a silicon tuner, which is less reliable.
Would it be enough to fit an amplifier for the antenna signal (similar to this (http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/498b8e1f0dc2dc4a2740c0a87e0106de/Product/View/L4690)) ?

I would see if you could return the amplifier, and if so try it - see if it improves your signal and hopefully an improved signal will get rid of your problem.
