Hello.

I am looking for a bit-perfect sound card so I can move fully over to Ubuntu.

I would like to have coax and optical out and MIDI. For when/if I use Windows I would also like a native ASIO driver (not ASIO4ALL).

The sound card will be connected to a external DAC.

Thanks for your recommendations. :)

yes, I am very interested in this also. Can anyone give me the names of a few ASIO hardware devices that are compatible with Ubuntu..

There is no Linux implementation of ASIO as far as I know, so ASIO compatibility would be meaningless.

In Linux Jack and ALSA are used instead.
