View Full Version : [SOLVED] fonds??. i did every thing

i want to install a .ttf fond
i did
sudo cp /path to my fond.TTF /usr/share/fonts/truetype/mycollection
then
fc-cache -f -v

but still the website (http://www.mehtapublishinghouse.com/fonts.asp) which i want to view is not showing correctly

Can you see your font in the directory you copied them to in nautilus (file browser).
You also need to select the fonts for use in your system font settings (System>Preferences>Appearance>Fonts tab)or the firefox font settings (Edit>Preferences>Content>Font & Colors).

i can see my fond in the directory.i also copied it in /home/username/.fonts and i change the default font in the Firefox>Edit>Preferences>Content>Font & Colors
to my font but the font on that particular site is unreadable

i did as you said but still not able to see the website.
in windows xp i only had to put this fond in fond folder and it worked .
what may be the problem hear

after i upgraded to 9.10 i can view this site with no problem
