Ardour click enable and tempo set

I am trying enable set the tempo for the click in Ardour. The manual says that when you toggle the click button, a dialog box should open so you can set the tempo. so such box opens, even after I have defined the outputs. context clicking on the bars/beats clock (My understanding is that this means right clicking) also causes no reaction.

make sure your right in the tempo bar along top with your mouse left click will bring up tempo,i tried it there now

UPDATE....... just enable click(metronome) by left click on it (until it lights up),then move your mouse to where it says tempo (the horizontal bars above master and audio tracks) and right click on the red arrow beside the word tempo this will allow you to set the metronome tempo see screenshot!
