Here is the link for the graphics plugin:

I found the site, but when I download it (The correct one supposedly for linux) I get an exe file instead of a deb or tar.

wtf!

Is there a way to add the keyring and download it through Synaptic?

I have been bashing my head against the wall trying to find a decent PSX emulator for the past few days and I finally found one that works: pcsxr

They have deb files in 32- and 64-bit format as well as rpms, source, even a version for MacOS X.

Here's a link: http://pcsxr.codeplex.com/

It even runs the game I play (FF7) with the internal BIOS. I just happen to have a weird problem where the "spinning blur" effect before a battle doesn't happen. The graphics just pause until the battle initiates. I recall having this problem before with a similar emulator (I think it was pcsx-df, which pcsxr is based on) and a simple config change fixed it. But I can't seem to figure out what that change is.

I found the tar file, tried to extract it, but something must be wrong with the pathway or maybe I am supposed to know how to alter the command line for my specific system, but its still not working out.

Thank you for the suggestion though.

Are you referring to epsxe or pcsxr? Cuz there's a simple deb file for pcsxr. Just download, double click, and install.

I am having trouble finding the deb file. I only found a tar file.

Am I supposed to download PCSXR-DF or the other one? You sent me a link to the PCSXR reloaded which said it supports linux but is a different project.

Can someone give me the link for FF7?

I love FF7. It was a pretty radical game. You basically start off as an eco-terrorist against the Shinra corporation. It was a great story.

In the ROM version can you hack the game to bring Eris back? Or was it Aeres? We are not discordians here.
