I'd like to install the latest VirtualBox on a Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64 system.

Should I be installing virtualbox-ose listed in Synaptic, or via the http://www.virtualbox.org/ web site ?

use virtual box official site it have more fresh(a lot of issues were fixed since 8.04 had released)
