empty screen instead of photo in f-spot

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I downloaded a number of pictures from my camera in to F-Spot.

So far so good.

The thumbnails all show up at the top of the F-spot screen just fine, yet when I double click one of the icons, a small grey rectangle icon with no image appears. The same thing when I choose 'full screen.'

Oddly enough, photos downloaded from the internet (like Nixon and Elvis shaking hands in the Oval Office) show up just fine.

Any ideas?
