Disapperaing Mouse in WOW

Hi all. I have a little problem with my mouse disappearing on screen while playing WOW. It'll show up in some areas, but not others(note that the areas seem be be the same each time i load the game, but are not always there). I can still click the buttons providing I can manage to imagine where the mouse would be. Has anyone ran into this problem? I've read through all the tutorials on installing wow and troubleshooting, but none seem to document such a problem.

As I wrote in another thread (and again, this isn't my solution, but it worked for me anyway) :

/console farclip 499

in the regular game chat will probably solve the problem as it sounds exactly like the problem I had. The explanation was given in this thread:

Worked just dandy for me at least :)

Edit: I haven't myself paid much attention to what it does to the draw distance so I'm not gonna say that it's bad or good. For me; it fixed the problem to an acceptable price (bearing in mind that it is a workaround and not a fix). For others; they don't like losing the draw distance and so will choose other workarounds. I don't have the details on that though, nor do I know whether these other workarounds, eh, work.

Don't know if that fix you have to type it each time, but you can set this in the Config.wtf file

SET farclip "499"
