Hello world!
I just installed Mythbuntu onto my new HTPC. I already tested all hardware under WinXP and it runs perfectly there. Then I wanted to move to Mythbuntu, it just looks much better and more promising for my needs. But Mythbuntu cannot find my DVB-S2 card (KNC-One TV-Station DVB-S2). I found the menu where I can enter the type of capture card. I pointed it to "DVB DTV TV-Card 3.x" but I cannot access the field beneath, itīs just empty. What do I have to do? Same happens when trying Mythdora.
Thanks for any help!
kind regards, Peter

I am having the same issue. I have a Twinhan AS-SP300(1034) and a Hauppuage HVR-1300 and cannot get MythBuntu to find the cards either.

I am wondering if the PC has to be hooked up to the Internet to "Download" the appropraite drivers?

I downloaded the latest DVB-S2 drivers from http://mercurial.intuxication.org/hg/s2-liplianin

Now my Twinhan 1034 shows up within MythTV. Now I just have to configure the Multisitch/DiSEqC as I have 4 LNBs coming into a 17 In 8 Out multiswitch.

Anyone have experience configuring DiSEqC with a multiswitch within MythTV?
