Audacious and wav files

Noticed a curious behavior with Audacious 1.5.0 in hardy.

If you set the output plugin to pulse or jack, wav files are choppy. if you set it to alsa, wav files play fine.

mp3's work fine in with all three output plugins.

Anybody know if this had a fix?

I don't know a fix, but thanks anyway bud, you just provided a fix for me to play my wav's, simply by switching from pulse to asla! Cheers

For me changing it to ALSA output didn't work.
With me the wav files keep getting interrupted so the files aren't playable
So i changed it to ESD output, and now everything work, although the total music volume went down

Thanks for the short term fix, I was wondering how to fix the choppiness of my CD playback in Audacious.
