Hi

I have rebuilt my mythbuntu system using 4gig memory 500gig hdd and and 5200 processor. The recorded video jumps slightly when replaying recordings, any suggestions as to what this might be? The system runs fine other than this and my old system used to work fine until I upgraded to 9.04. Is this a result of using the new version?

cheers

What drivers and video card combination are you using? Do you experience tearing on the screen or is it a stutter? Does the audio stutter as well?

Run the front end with the verbose option and see if you see anything unusual when you watch tv in the console output.

Hi,

Try different video playback profiles or different versions of the video driver.

On my frontend system the NVidia 177 driver version and CPU-- is abit jerky playing HD but the 173 driver and high quality works 100%.
