Menu icon help

I ask you for help in trying to make the attached image into a menu icon for the ubuntu panal. :p

As you can see the shadows would need removing and maybe a transparent background added.

You guessed right that i am useless with image manipulation programs but learning every day, so i ask here for help

Why not just use of the png icons in /usr/share/icons/Human/48x48/places, or svg icons in /usr/share/icons/Human/scalable/places
