I have a laptop running 7.04, a D_Link WNA-2330 and a linksys WRT54G router.
I am running the router in secure mode and I have a fresh install of Ubuntu on the laptop. The laptop does not have any of the routers security settings entered, but under network does see the "Windows Network". My question is twofold:
Under Places>Network, why does it see the Windows Network at all without the security information?
Also, where do I enter the security information? Under Network Network tools it simply has Unknown device under ath0 and wifi0 in Network device.
