Globe trotter integrated PCI 3G HSPDA modem

I have a Acer aspre one subnotebook with integrated Globe Trotter HSDPA modem and a Linux Mint 6.
I was try the dial whit gnome-ppp, but it sad "Don't find the modem".
I was uninstall the network-managger and install the wicd,but to ditto.
Pleas help!
