Hi all,
I have a PCI audio interface for recording music.... but it's annoying to lug around and set up. I want a USB audio interface. I need at least 2 XLR inputs with phantom power and preamps, and would love combo jacks just for versatility. I'd like some advice before I go spending money. :D
The Presonus Audiobox looks good, but I keep reading mixed reviews on driver status.
The M-Audio series looks good enough, but again, mixed reviews.
The Line 6 stuff seems to not work at all.
The ART USB Dual PreTwo looks interesting, but there's not a lot written on it.
The E-MU Tracker Pre USB also looks interesting, but again, not much written.
Does anyone have any experience with these things? Features don't mean squat if the thing doesn't talk to my laptop.
