Hi,
I dual boot XP/Ubuntu (XP for autocad)
Recently I had network issues, and during the course of trying to diagnose, I swapped the ethernet cable and plugged it into my second network port, disabling the the first in the bios. Eventually I tracked the problem down to an overheating network switch (the cat was sleeping on it)
However, when I booted Ubuntu, the network connection was broken.
I tried to change it manually (I don't use dhcp) but the 'OK' button is greyed out, if I check DHCP the button is clickable.
So how do I make the changes needed?
