do mods send a pm if a tutorial is not accepted into the Tutorial and Tips sub-forum? I've made 2 threads in that forum and none have been approved, whats up?

I see that you submitted a thread yesterday, and one a few hours ago. It often takes us some time to get to Moderated Threads and Posts as it is low on our priority list, and sometimes they require discussion among the staff. Since you asked, I'll go and have a look at your threads in a few minutes, but in the future, please give us a few days to make our way through the list.

And yes, mods do normally PM users when threads are not accepted. Cheers.

Your tutorials look interesting, but I need to disuss with other staff about them before I can approve, which could take a few hours. Thank you for your patience.

To give you a heads up, one thing that we might need to ask you to add is how to undo the changes that your tutorials make to a user's system (per this sticky (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=677396)). If this is the case, we will likely approve the tutorial then ask you to make the addition. I'll post back when the tutorials are approved.

Sorry for the delay, I have approved your two tutorials:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1053814
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1052871

We ask that you please add information about how to reverse changes made to the system since the work in your threads is non-trivial to implement. With that said, well written, the tutorials look pretty interesting. Thank you for taking the time to write them for the community, I hope they go to some good use!
