I would have been thrilled to find this 2 weeks ago. We will be moving to town where there is such an animal as DSL sometime this year.

It took a long time to get the dial up going so I was worried about DSL. I took a Live CD (I buy them as downloading at 4.4Kb would be silly) and tried it on my wifes mothers Vista machine. Was connected on Hardy with 2 clicks and on Intrepid with 0 clicks. This was a pleasant shock.

You don't indicate where you are from. Here in the U.S.A., modems are generally supplied by the ISP. I bet most of them hook up as hord as mine did and I hope they do else where.

I may sound over confident. I have book marked you link.
