The theme this forum has right now hurts my eyes! I need help so bad, but it hurts to look at the screen :( :(.

I can't find anywhere to change the colors, or pick a different theme. Where do I go to do that?

Also, it may be an interaction with the KDE colors or something.. Not sure, but I haven't picked a custom Gtk theme yet.

I don't think you can change the default theme, but what do you mean it hurts your eyes. its pretty much as color neutral and easy on the eye as possible? Could you post a screenshot of what you're seeing, perhaps there is something wrong with how firefox is rendering it for you.

The only way that I can think of is using the Stylish add-on for Firefox and creating your own or looking at other styles that might interest you.

It's like I'm looking at a blank screen with plain text everywhere. Text areas aren't shaded and links aren't underlined. Anyway, I took a break and let my eyes rest, so they're okay for now.

Those screenshots show the forum the way it's supposed to look. It also shows an underlined link or two. :)

Hm.. You're right about the links.. Most aren't underlined, but some are. I'm starting to figure out what is and isn't a link by now, though, so that's okay lol. And if that's how the forum is supposed to look, then I guess I just legitimately would like to change the thme! :P

From the answers, I've gathered that this is not possible, so I'll just take these forums in small doses. Thanks for the responses!

Yes I suppose maybe you will get used to it. The only thing that seems off to me is your fonts. Perhaps you don't have msfonts installed or you have your default font changed in your browser?

If you have Compiz you can make the screen negative if that would help.

I would say use the Stylish addon for Firefox and install one of the styles at userstyles.org

Amazing lol. I JUST tried this with KWin's native invert effect, but I couldn't get it to work.. /shrug

AMAZING! This is so great! Perfect :). The blue one looked cooler from the SS, but it didn't load right at all.. the "easier on the eyes" one works perfectly. Topic [SOLVED]!

Haha.. I'm resurrecting this (sorry) so I can give credit where credit is due! You were the first to mention Stylish. Sorry for thanking the other guy :).
