Hi,
I have a Point of view Nvidia 8500GT (256mb DDR2 ram) grafics card,
It has a DVI and VGA out.
My 19" widescreen LCD monitor is hooked up on the digital out,
and I just hooked op a (I think 19") CRT monitor on the VGA.
I'm using the Nvidia control panel.

Whenever I try to adjust the screen size of my CRT one, it adjusts, but my LCD screen just turns black.. Help?
I tried running the Nvidia control panel with root privileges, but I got the same result.

In the nvidia-settings which monitor is set as the primary? Are you settings it up right of or left of? Could you post a screen shot of nvidia-settings.

My LCD is monitor0, the default.
I'm going to change it to left, because the crt is on the left in real life.
