Hi all,
As you might now, the GScrot (http://gscrot.ubuntu-projekte.de/) screenshot app is undergoing rebranding to be called Shutter (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1030391).
While we're quite happy with the new name, the team does have differences over the logo to use - should we only represent the "shutter" (of a camera), or should the lens be inside it?
The artists point (no lens) is that it is too much detail for the logo, and on small sizes, it wouldn't be noticeable. Also with a reflecting lens, the background needs to be darker to see it, which isn't as good as a transparent one.
I've attached two mock ups, one without the lens and another with a (poorly gimped) lens in it. What do the artistas here think on this matter?
