Simple question, i have a wirelesss network. I cant figure out how to conect to it in ubuntu?. Is there a nice and easy way like windows?. Just installed ubuntu, looking good :).

Depends what wireless card you have.

Do us a favour and click applications > accessories > terminal and type


lspci -v

and copy and paste the gobbldygook it spits out.

Click on the Network Manager icon (the one that looks like 2 computers). This should bring down a menu showing all the network connections available. Click on the relevant item and it should connect.
