I want to see if my SLI is working correctly on Ulbuntu. I was told to install UT2k4 or Quake 4 demo to see if my fps we're better or the same...

How do I check my fps on Quake 4 and UT2k4 ?

My glxgears scores show no change in scores after enabling SLI...but another guy told me it probably wouldn't change glxgears at all because it might need an update or something before it will show them on both gpu's..

Please let me know if theres a test or something I can do to see if my SLI is working. Thanks.

Open up a console, then type:com_showFPS 1

Open up a console, then type:

Cool thanks...lol I've only played Quake once or twice before...so I don't know how to get the console open.

I mostly just play CS and stuff... Quake was never really my style.

If anyone could tell me how to open a console I'd be greatful. Thanks

Actually I think be default in Quake you have to type CTRL-ALT-~ in order to bring the console up. If you want to be able to bring the console up with just the ~ key, type:com_allowConsole 1
