Hi there.
Somebody had a similar problem (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1001226) so I will dig this up again.
When working with PGP/GPG in Enigmail every time I enter my pass phrase to decrypt/sign stuff, Gnome caches the "Encryption Key".
The first thing is, the "encryption key" is public, so there is nothing fancy about that.
The thing is, there is my name in the box of Gnome, where it says that the key was cached. So it is rather something else.
Secondly, that bloody Gnome shouldn't do any caching. That is why I disabled it in System/Preferences/Enc....blah.
Enigmail doesn't cache the keys, it is asking every time I want to use it. But every time I enter my pass phrase in Enigmail that Gnome Keyring thingy pops up and freaks me out.
What am I doing wrong, what could be going wrong?
