Timeoutd - Session time restriction

Hi, I'm not sure that this is the right place to post, but here it goes:

I need a program that restricts the session time usage for my 14 year old cousin (on my aunt's request), so that he'll only be allowed a certain amount of time daily.

I've googled for something like this and came across a program called "timeoutd". However, there seems to be some problems between timeoutd and ubuntu 8.10. Would anyone know of a build ready for Ubuntu Intrepid or any other program that will do the job?
