I know K. Mandla is very busy but I really enjoyed the Tutorial of the Week feature. Lately however this feature thread has become unmaintained. Just wondering if K.Mandla has given up choosing Tuts of the Week.

Since K.Mandla has became staff emeritus, the Tutorial of the Week feature has been neglected. We will try and remedy this soon :D

I'm not sure what to make of the response "Since K.Mandla has became staff emeritus, the Tutorial of the Week feature has been neglected."

What are you telling me about designees of the staff emeritus title?

What overdrank was trying to put across is the fact that before leaving the staff, K.Mandla asked if anybody would take over the Tutorial of The Week thread. It seems nobody has done so yet, so we will look into doing so soon :)

Oh, I guess I didn't realize something. I wasn't aware that Staff Emeritus means that he left the staff. I thought Emeritus meant not as active but still around.

In any case, Tutorial of the Week was a great feature. Look forward to it being continued if possible.

This link explained it quite well for me :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emeritus

Basically Staff Emeritus are people who were on staff, but chose to step down after however long :)

Now that K. Mandla is Staff Emeritus, can the infractions he levied against me become Infractions Emeriti?

That's up to the forum council, so if you do feel that be the case, you may take it to the forum council :)

I also would like the tutorial of the week to come back. I think that it is a great source of tools. I've actually used several of the tutorials there and I used to check there after an unsuccessful google search.

Anyway I just wanted to support the thread to be supported again
