So I looked through a few threads and tried a few of the ways in order to get multiple monitors setup, but I can't get it to seem to work. Here are all the details for my setup. Let me know if any additional details are needed to help:

My xorg.conf File:
# xorg.conf (X.Org X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by failsafeDexconf, using
# values from the debconf database and some overrides to use vesa mode.
#
# You should use dexconf or another such tool for creating a "real" xorg.conf
# For example:
# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

Laptop: Dell Inspiron 600M
Graphics Card: ATI Mobility RADEON 9000 AGP 4X video graphics at 32MB
Additional Monitor: Hyundai ImageQuest L70S

I tried the following things so far (which I found from this post: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=221174)
MergedFB - Seemed to produce an 'additional' monitor (my mouse would go there) but the screen stayed black. The monitor just display 'video can't be displayed' (or something similar to that)
Xinerma - Which doesn't work for ATI (I found that after I tried it), but after installing it the laptop went crazy and asked for multiple monitor details which I filled out, and it still only shows 1 monitor.

I've also tried to change the monitors in the screen resolution section. I took the monitors off clone and then moved them to the needed locations and applied them, but each time I applied them nothing occured. The monitors stayed clones of each other.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. And sorry for my stupidity!

I edited my xorg.conf file with what should have corrected the problem, but I am still only seeing a clone and can't get it off clone. What am I doing wrong!
