I have an old HP box with Windows XP on it. 512MB ram, maybe 1.1ghz processor, a 30gb main HDD, and a second internal 80GB (very loud btw on the second.)
I moved the computer recently and noticed an S-video port that i've never paid much attention to on the back of it near the bottom. As other users have stated, i have searched for guides and they all involve NVIDIA drivers. This box, however has ATI, not NVIDIA and I cannot find ati drivers for the svideo or guides for it.
i would like to connect my pc to the tv, but i have no clue if the port works or not. I have an old Magnavox tv with no s-video, and i just ran the s-video cable through my switcher box(lost of inputs for stuff, 1 output) and figured it would work.)

Any suggestions?
Or should I just leave it?

EDIT: Attempting to use the TV as an extended desktop so output from s-video? i have no clue if it even supports that.
