Hi,

I'm relatively new to Ubuntu and I don't know much about it. One of the features I do like about ubuntu is the ability to customize. Right Now my ubuntu looks like a Mac OS X operating system (cool I know). What I am wanting to know is if there are any good themes that have been compiled.

I'm looking for themes for the whole desktop, as well as themes for the AWN. If there is a thread/topic that has already addressed this subject please just point me in that direction.

Thanks,
-Jeff

Assuming that you're running Gnome, one of the best places to go is Gnome-Look (http://gnome-look.org). There is also KDE-Look (http://kde-look.org) if you're running KDE as well. You'll find themes for all sorts of different aspects of Linux there.

To a lesser extent, there is also http://art.gnome.org/themes, though not nearly as comprehensive as gnome-look.org IMO.
