I am having a problem finding a good program to burn dvd's with. I am currently using dvd:rip and then k3b, but none of the files ripped are able to be burned.

I am familiar with Video_ts and audio_ts files as i used to have windows, but now am a little unclear about what format i want them in. When ripped i get .vob files, so i dont know if those are any good.

Also, the K3b program keeps failing right as the burning starts. Right now i am trying Devede, but it is taking an extremely long time to burn a movie that is broken into 5 vob files.

Any help/clarification would be appreciated

You can also install k3b

sudo apt-get install k3b

and k9copy in the "settings" you can tell it to automatically burn via k3b once it's done ripping the DVD ..

puurrtty sweet..
